Welcome to the inaugural Polish Olympic Games organized by Hannah of Polly Polish!
Without further ado, will the athletes from Turtleland take their respective places and let the games begin!
First up, we have diving. He climbs up the rungs, composes himself and gets ready to dive..................... Ahem, looks like he is taking a little tad longer than we imagine. Let's move on to the next game.
Exciting beach volleyball! She tips the ball over the net but hey, why is the ball stuck on the net? Somebody, get that ball down now! All right audience, let's sit back and enjoy the long-awaited sun here in London. Look how that sand is glistening in the sunlight!
While that ball is being taken down, what is happening at archery? This is the first time ever that we placed the bullseye so near to the athlete. These are athletes from Turtleland after all, we need to make these games friendly for all. Aren't we a considerate committee? Looks like she is still in the midst of raising that bow and arrow, so let's move on, shall we?
Mountain bike cycling! He is stomping to the finishing line, cycling as hard as he can. It looks he is going to win the gold! Let's cheer him on!!!
Covering the last game for now, women's beam in artistic gymnastics. Wow, she is performing a handstand and trying to move along the beam. Beautifully poised and balanced. We hope she scores on this one.
Let's now have one quick look at all the games before the next coverage. Don't you admire their sporting spirit? Let's give them a round of applause, shall we? CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP!
I hope you enjoyed my take on this theme. As you can see, this is funnily pathetic, being my first freehand attempt using nail art brushes and nail polish to draw. Base colours were chosen in accordance to the colours of the Olympic Rings.
I will edit this post later to include links of all participants for Polish Olympics. Otherwise, do input #PolishOlympics on twitter to look at the other entries.
Enjoy the games and thanks for watching!
Do check out what these awesome ladies had done for Polish Olympics!
